General impressions:

Here are my first impressions...
I had anticipated its arriving from the States so badly and when it finally did arrive I saw exactly what I had seen on photos (except that I hadn’t noticed the scratches). It’s complete with Montero Limited, that is leather, electro, sunroof, timbered steering wheel and decent stereo. The mileage is 34,000 miles. Looks almost new from 10 meters’ distance :-)
Expenses: dry-cleaning and polishing (I so wish it was new…) - $280; diagnostics: oil filters, brake disks resurfacing – only $590, they didn’t find anything else. I don’t drive it daily (also got a BMW), and what I like is:
- Definitely, the high seats.
- Engine acceleration (comparing with Honda CRV that I had before, this one is heavier but the performance is far better).
- The big passenger compartment. My wife is complaining though about the uncomfortable backseat (the back is too low), but I’ve shown her how to sit in a proper way – stretch your legs and slip down a little bit :-) My daughter likes the car, except for the elbow-rest – Honda used to have a small folding table between the front seats, so she could pay me a visit from time to time.

What I like in this car:

What I dislike in this car:

What I don’t like is:
- that it heels at turns (stupid van),
- and brakes worse than passenger cars (first few minutes after I change from BMW feel so annoying, damn it).
